Main & Big End Bearings/Shells. Who' are best?
Hi all,
Im rebuilding my cossie lump, need to get some new main & big end bearings. I see there are a lot to choose from but which are the best quility/valve for money. Burtons are expensive, Graham Goode seem reasonable.
Thanks

just make sure you measure them all to make sure clearance is good...all of the ones metioned are good....plastigage and the right micrometer are your friend. if your not sure find someone who is IMO.

When they say a set.............are you sure they have that right ????
Are they talking Big & Little End Rod bearings or as mentioned + Crank bearings ?
If Big & Little then the VAT...........that would be Mahle at around the same price at Matt Lewis.
To be fair to Matt - GGR would work out more expensive

Just Crank then............if they are Mahle - I'd say get them
I think Matt Lewis is costing for the full Bottom End - which is a good price.

Has any one else had problems with acl race bearings? Do they require a high pressure oil pump or is standerd fine?
