Why do the 4x4 saff cossie rear suspension arm bushes have the bearing type in and standard sierra arms dont.I was thinking about poly bushing the arms but ive heard of a few people saying not to fit the poly bushes. Why?
I had the bearing type bushes in my 24v, but when they were worn I replaced them with poly bushes. After that the tyres were wearing unevenly because the rear toe was changing under acceleration/braking. It also made the car feel weird to drive. In the end I replaced the poly bushes with the bearing type again. Drives much better now!
I need to replace mine too. Wish i'd looked into the cost before i'd started though because with this and having paid out for my beam powder coated i would've been well on the way to a new 6 degree beam instead.
