starter moter wire
The starter moter wire is my next conquest.
Is it the black/white wire that comes from the same place as the orange blue that i think goes to the horn.
It is by the earthing point, on the offside of the car.
Thankyou
Also why would my amal valve be ticking constantly when the car ignition is on.

Thankyou.
Its the oil pressure switch wire and the starter remote that are missing.
I will keep looking but am stripping the looms back looking for them at the moment.
How do i calibrate the TPS.
The car has not run yet so the ecu hasn't received a TPS reading whilst running.
Do you think the clicking is still that.
When i attach the amal valve that starts clicking as well.

if 2WD and correct management, unplug the TPS, this is akin to it being adjusted correctly for closed throttle (Open circuit) if you have it adjusted incorrectly the ECU will assume the driver has taken control and will make no attempt to control the idle.
Basically it's just a case of making sure the TPS relates to the throttle angle, there is no adjustment as such other than making sure the sprung loaded connector on the TPS returns home.
A bad calibration will also cause the boost solenoid to 'click'.
It should be right behind the starter motor, it leaves from a black sheathing, and there is just enough wire leaving it to connect to the two.

Well the clicking has gone as i had a spare ecu and put that on.
I have one last job before i can start the car.
It is to find the remote wire for the starter moter and the oil pressure wire.
There is nothing there.
Not to mention a oil pressure cap
