I bought one a few years ago from GGoode iirc, totally transformed the power delivery from complete slop and vagueness to sharp response well worth purchasing .

I have heard some horror stories thats all, i bought engine and gearbox mounts off them and i was told not to use them.

Also a friend of mine bought loads of stuff off them for his subaru a year ago, he has stripped the car for parts and most of the bushes he had fitted were knackered.

Also in theory this could cause alot less camber issues so less wearing out the inside edge of the tyre.

Would there be a good gains to be made by replacing the worn, 20 year old, sloppy diff mount with a standard replacement from ford, I am thinking of getting a new one but maybe not full on poly version?

How does it do that then? Camber issues are caused by the trailing arm going up and down nothing to do with the diff.

No way near as much as the msd one, Stu recons that a brand new standard one still aint up to the job. Get the msd one i did and really pleased with it.

Diff mount - it's third pillar of rear beam. Try just unscrew it from the body and you will see what road clearance doesn't change but camber will be seriously wrong.

When i used to do sierra stocks we used to put a spacer between the the chassis and the diff mount to cause more camber. So if your bush is saggy then the it will drop therefore giving more camber than necessairy.

I made some videos to illustrate the movement a standard mount has, versus a new one.

No it`s not. GrpA have a diff cover, who bolts directly to the floor. Mounting is one part of the cover
