Default Zorst still Fookin Scrapping, Standard springs the answer?

HI all. Sorry bit on an essay. End of my tether with this lol.
I have just fitted a magnex oe style exhaust to my saph 4x4. Now I am still scrapping everything if not a bit more considering the diameter of the exhaust pipes is smaller than my mongoose if have just taken off, and now I have taken a chunk out of the pavment tarmac going onto my drive which is on a hill and slant slightly down. I am planning on fitting standard ride height suspension. Will this cure it. Pic of them.

I have got the exhaust as high as I can for now but I think I can only get it up another 3 maybe 4cm's at a push. But I don thtink it will sort this problem.
My car is lowered only 25 mm so I dont eat the cv joints and on koni shocks all round.
I am going for Bayjoo standard ride height ones.

Does anyone else have this problem or am I the only one?
Who else has standard ride heightspirings?
cheeRS all.

i know plenty of cars that are lowered that dont scrape, what rubbers are you hanging it off? they may be to long or perhaps perished and soft allowing the exhaust to bounce

New ford ones, but they may be on the wrong hole or something. I may also try and bend the metal bars on the exhaust itself and see if that helps.

I have the same system as you on my 3 door only with a smaller back box, i solved it by hanging the system using the thinner closer holes on the rubber mounts ,ie turning them on there side . very tight fit and does the job any more probs pm me

i would imagine getting some really slim rubbers would sort it. also a check if your car is actually 25mm, all the springs ive ever bought have never been what they claimed

harris, i will try and put the zorst on the side bits of the mount tomorrow once i have put my new discs on, have a look and hope it works. it was a bugger getting it on the longer gapped holes lol.
m4tt274, hope they are 25mm but i am suspisious sometimes as i do have a steepish angle on the front driveshafts when she is on the deck. dont know what magnex say to hang it on as it is a hardly used second hand one.
ill update tomorrow night.

cheeRS.

i said i would update but as you might have seen from other threads once i put my new discs on and went for a test run my shocks at the front rotted out and let go nearly writing of the front tyres lol. so it wont be till next weeks i can try and hang it higher. but now with new standard front shocks and springs the ride height at the front is higher at the mo.

till next week hopefully folks..

No just normal ford ones. Are the power flex stiffer and shorter?

I also have the exact same problem with the same spec 4x4 as yours
Took the mongoose off as it was catching where the front pipe goes from offside to nearside.
Decided that magnex was a better fit,and that now catches just behind the twin boxes where the joint is flanged one side, and slip on joint the other.
Think the cutting disc and mig welder are going to pay a visit to it soon

Since my shocks collapsed last thursday I have put standard ride height springs and shocks at the front and it has raised the front (obviously). I am still planning hopefully this week to raise the exhaust so hopefully my problem is sorted.
