Default GT3076R Spec for my 4x4

I broke my old T35 Turbo last week and decided to change to a Gt3076R..

Now im not shure about the A/R housing ..

The engine has standart compression and i would drive round 450 bhp..

Im thinking about a .63 housing, but the most using the .82, which one would be the best for me??

GT3071 would be bettter for that power my friend.

Also watch your box & Diffs with that torque you'll be making.

I think they use a .82 iirc, or above, i'd personally opt for the GT3071, have you thought about the GTX Turbos??

Ive got a GT3076r with a 0.63 housing waiting to go on my car - will report back and let you know how it is.

In theory it shouldnt be laggy at all and should hold good power upto the redline

Its the wrong turbo for the engine - surely it will run odd on std engine - i take it you have standard cams and pistons so other than an AB07 INLET you don't have any more options for getting power out of it.

I was told my standard engine was completely wrong for this turbo GT3076r .82 so have a new lower comp, big cam engine with decent head work

I would speak to someone regarding the GT3071 .82 but i would say your going to need to change the inlet cam at least.

gt3071.83, what would the lag be like on this with the .82 housing, because that housing sounds a bit big to me also

Yes i have standart pistons and cams, but the engine is rebuild 2 years ago,and had get a decent headwork, so i dont want to change my like new pistons..

At the last days i has read some threats about the GT and GTX turbos.

Now im thinking about the GTX3076R, so 3071 arent very good some people write.
But i will talk with my engine builder about a new cam for inlet, i think he know whats needed that the engine will run good.

You can machine cut outs into the pistons which really is something that most should do at build time for future tuning - then you don't have limits on the cams.

For your case i would go for a GT3071 .63 with a ported head, Kent ABO7 inlet cam that would make for decent power
