The 4x4 does not have the ECU in the same place as pre face lift models, instead it sits in a bracket behind the passenger dashboard itself IIRC.

The L6 is not only technically, but physically different as well, i.e. the L8 (which your car would have had originally) does not have "Wings", L6 does. Incidentally you do know this won't be plug and play, i.e. the TPS is not only different but will require the wiring changing.

MSD were selling brackets but thats only if you have fitted L8 into a 2WD car, so tbh I think your going to have to make your own fitting up.

The 2WD certainly does have the ABS ECU mounted on top of the ECU, this is true of lesser mananged models as well, 4x4 is the same setup I should think!

There was a 4x4 ECU bracket on ebay a while ago, I nearly had it "just in case" but never got around to it. might still be there.
