i dont surposse anyone knows if a yb front diff is the same as a 2.8 4x4 sierra?
or are the shaft sizes different?

think they are the same, longer shaftes in the xr4x4

The 2.8 one won't fit

You need to use the 2.9 one as it's th same, the 2.0 will fit but it's got a 3.92:1 ratio as opposed to the cossie 3.62:1 so will kill the centre viscous in a out 5 minutes

do you know what the differance is between the 2.8 and the 2.9?

they "look" the same but when it came to it, the 2.8 didn't fit into the 2.9 sump pan

and seeing as the 2.0 and the 2.9 share the same casing, it's probably a change in the casing itself

they also look different slightly, you can see the differences when they are side by side
