Hi guys need a new front driveshaft for my 4x4 cossie. Do I go for a standard pattern one for about £90 or get a so called uprated one (10mm longer) for about £160?

The uprated one i think your on about is the xr4x4 one which is lightly longer than the saph cossie one. It will stop it poping out more thatn the standard one. Whats the state of your engine mounts? ie standard or uprated?

My engine mounts are new vibratecnic ones, so decided to get a recon standard one as car is normal ride height too.

euro car parts do the front shafts at just over £30 each to the trade i have them on mine and have had no problems with them, they are reconditioned originals not pattern as well, they had them on the shelf a few months back when i got mine
