Question What's this for??
I got hold of a 4x4 bonnet and will be spraying it shortly.

I noticed this --> https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=7A9BB...1604&sc=photos - "hinge" or whatever on one side of the bonnet just on top of one of the grilles (right hand side looking from the front).

Can someone tell me what it is for?

That's for the bonnet switch on the slam panel to rest against
