never heard of spec.

AP paddle clutches have a hard pedal feel, whereas Alcon paddle clutches feel a lot of softer so easier on the legs

would probably have to count the splines on the input shaft your using and then the size of the working face on the flywheel

Have a read here first http://www.specclutch.com/products see what abuse your gonna give it and see what you think you can put up with I was going to go spec and couldn't find anyone with one to ask about their rep, so I bottled it and went alcon

Ade

Stage 3 will do me - if i cant get this sorted then i will just order an alcon as had that in my 3dr and it was great.

However, these Spec clutches are almost half the price, but then you do need to add import taxes, etc

I called Backdraft and they couldnt identify what actual clutch is needed for a 2wd Cossie as they are VW specialist - they even contacted Spec in the states and called back saying even Spec dont know good service from Backdraft tho

Backdraft suggested Helix which worked out at £349 + VAT + Delivery. So a total of £430.80 - may as well order Alcon for that little bit more

i ended up going for an AP 6 paddle in the end - which i know will be too hard for dodgy knee oh well lets see how long it lasts, as will order a spec clutch once the AP gives way
