Stage 1 Cosworth fuel pressure fse regulator??
Hi, iv got a turbosystems stage 1 chip in my sapphire cossie, which was already fitted when I got the car along with an fse fuel pressure regulator. I no it depends on what the chip is designed to work at but in general is it usually standard fuel pressure for stage 1 which I believe is 3 bar with vac and 3.5 without?
If so I may need to fit a standard regulator because if I set the pressure to 3 with vac it goes to about 4 bar without vacuum and if I set it to 3.5 bar without vacuum it drops to about 2.5 when ac pipe is connected! Does this mean it's the wrong type of regulator? Will it cause problems if I use 3 bar with vacuum and 4 bar without? Or will it just run slightly richer? I was thinking of just fitting a standard one instead but would rather leave the fse one on if I don't need to change it!
Thanx for any help!
