Default ECU Help! Identification Please.

Right a little while ago i did ask for help on the sills and came across the ECU being the wrong one!

Being sold the car as a stage 2 it seems to be that the ECU is a standard chip without the baby board!

Is this still a l8 board just without the baby board? Or does that then make it a l6? I do believe someone said about a l1? Could this be it?

also here is this a standard chip? just so i know what to state it at when i sell it.

Not sure if i should just try and find a baby board or do i need to go and get a whole new l8 with board?

Cheers for any help!!

Huh...

So its a l6 but why does it have the holes for the baby board and the l6 in the picture shown in the link above does not...

Still lost about the chip though. Is this a standard chip for the l6? I am guessing so

I guess i cant just get a baby board to add on this. Feel as if the car is a "pup" being sold with everything wrong!

Without a baby board you effectively do have an L6 if you have a L8 that is, I am not sure whether you can simply add a baby board to an L6 as I think it's a little bit more involved than that, plus you don't have the software for it.

That does indeed look like a standard chip to me, of course this doesn't mean it hasn't been re burnt (Remapped)

Has the case got "Wings" if so its a L1 or L6 with unknown chip.
Is the CO screw white or yellow? If yellow, Its L1, If white its L6... Either way, its NOT a L8 or P8.

Just change the chip, ensure the TPS matches the ECU and off you go.
