You need a 4x4 exhaust for a 4x4 cossy mate. Mongoose are the best all rounders I think

Don't get a scorpion unless you want THIS in your back box

Don't listen to the above re scorpion, it certainly won't be an issue unless you're going for serious power ie 550+.
Manifold wise, if that was your meaning ?, the 4wd one gives less lag but starts to be less effective than a freer flowing one after around 400bhp.

I have the Scorpion 4" backbox and i allways thought it was a bit tight, like ringing its neck but then was told as the gases are really hot and condenced it didnt affect the flow untill it exits the exhaust. " i may be told wrong " so correct me if i have been given yet again wrong info !

The newer scorpion back boxes are 3inch the whole way through.. This is what I've just upgraded to the older systems have a 2inch bore through the mid box and back box... My mid box was removed a while ago so it was just the backbox that was strangling my poor T38
Ajamesc, is yours sn older system or a newer one?

Yep, agree with Luke, i was told alongtime ago by Karl Norris about the Scorpion being restrictive for 400 and above, but as said, that's the 2" bore

I bet it's the newer design mate if it's the older one it will have 'scorpion' in huge lettering across the bottom of the box the newer ones don't. They changed the design in the mid nineties iirc.

I bet it does go well!! Is it the saff I saw some pics of in Newbury? Looks awesome  if your over this way again you'll have to let me know
