Uneven 3Door ride height
Hi
I have changed my standard 15 inch wheels for 17 inch image rims
8 j 17" at the rear & 7 and a half j 17" at the front.
The car sat evenly before but with the new wheels the drivers side is a full 20mm higher than the passenger side
The rear springs have been changed twice so we know its not them the car has had a geo and was within its tollerences and has never scrubbed its tires or given uneven wear.
The rear passenger wheel is about 4mm further forward when measured from wheel to wheel.................. (toward the front) so not sure if this would affect it, although i have been told none are mm perfect front to rear
We are going crazy as this uneven ride height was never an issue with the standard rims and all we have done is put bigger rims on?
We have swapped the wheels over and cannot understand why this is happening now
Also if an arm was bent how would you tell, im thinking most cossie arms would have clouted a roundabout at one stage in their life so you wont know your getting a good one
Has anyone ever experienced this?
Any help would be appreciated

Ford worked to the nearest meter not millimeter ha ha, no seriously they were that bad.
If the difference in centre to centre of wheel is only 4mm, that is well within tolerance, bloody amazing really tbh on a sierra.
What tyre sizes you using ?, if you want bang on ride height with all the variables on a car the only way to adjust height for perfection is coilys, 20mm is a lot though tbh.

Check the rear coils are located in the right place in the arms on both sides if the car has been jacked up on the diff with the arms hanging they sometimes move round giving an uneven ride height, A mates 500 had this problem after fitting new wheels the l/h spring had turned by 20mm enough to lift it out of the cut out thus altering the ride height on that corner worth checking
