Have you got an after market crank toothed pully by any chance?
If so that will be the reason that its stripped not the belt

I had alloy camshaft pulleys on my engine. The teeth edges became sharp and weakened the cam belt teeth, and the belt teeths where then ripped off by the crankshaft pulley. The belt is not the problem, most likely the pulleys are.

As said it won't be the belt, I have seen a some after market pullies with the wrong teeth profile, that will do it.

No everything is stock my only observation, as seen in another thread, was the belt tightening up lots when hot but loose as hell when cold, I thought it must be a cheap jack belt but I got it from Cosworth USA

Sadly getting stuff from cosworth these days doesn't mean a thing quality wise, they produce or rather supply some real shit these days, just look at their oil pumps that explode.

The strength of the belt has NOTHING to do with the power of the engine, it does NOT transmit the power, it merely powers the lumpy sticks.

I do mine every three years, or 25,000, so usually before 3 years.
I use DAYCO belt kit, the belt is gates under license, the tensioner is INA canada, not had any problems.
