Fuel pump cradle rubbers
Anyone know the size of the 3 rubber bobbins that support the pump in the cradle on a saff?

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Just a couple of months a go I was looking for some of these. £21 EACH from Ford! And the other style used on some cossies - the thinner, flat rubber mounts - are no longer available.

I was not going to pay the price ford, or anyone else wanted, so I made my own!!
Easily done with3 6mm bolts about 1 1/4" long, and 3 new lock nuts, then some 6mm internal bore pipe.
I just cut some rubber pipe, then put the bolts through the bracket pipe cradle etc, locknut on end job done about £1 in total.
I used marine grade SS nuts/bolts, just cut bolts to size, bit fiddly but do able, mine doesn't give any trouble, but does give me peace of mind knowing if the rubber deteriorates it's just a stanley knife and rubber pipe away from being fixed free!!
