I've sent him a mail, so hopefully he can answer

But is there nobody else who's tried these gearboxes? Or "Ludde" gearbox from Sweden?

I would like to know how noisy it is? Would it be annoying for a roadcar with the noise? Its because i'm thinking of buying a kit for my own car but it is not a trackday car and i use it every day.

What about the gear ratios, do you have std. ratios or custom? As far as i know you can get the ratios customized for a little extra money when you order it. I think that maybe a little bit closer ratios could be good for a engine that revs to nearly 8000 rpm.

Well yes, it is quite noisy. Uses my Cossie at the weekends on races or just through town..

I got the standard ratios. Its just like a standard gearbox but more noisy.

It seems difficult to buy from Oppliger because he can't come up with any prices on the gearboxes..

I've driven with Fix-It for many years without problems, so maybe that is a good gearbox for 500 hp?

Six days ago, when I started this thread, he wrote to me and said he had some gearboxes, both new and second hand, that he could make nice prices for. I gave him my mailadress, as he asked for.

Didn't receive anything from him. Wrote to him again in here, and he told me I would have the prices in my email Thursday morning. Now it's soon Saturday, and still nothing. Wrote him a PM yesterday, but he didn't answer it.. Don't seem VERY serious with this behavour.

If he hasn't anything to offer me, I can still use my Fix-it

To call from Norway to Italy, is NOT cheap either..
