Default Exhaust manifold swap

Need some advice on fitting a 2 wd manifold on to my 3 door, it came with a 4x4 manifold fitted with a t34 turbo and I've been offered a good uncracked 2wd manifold very cheap, I gather I'll have to spin the compressor housing round a bit so the boost pipe will fit on the turbo out let but was wandering if I'll need a new exhaust or will my existing system will still fit , any advise is greatly appreciated cheers

It would seem it varies, mostly depending on which exhaust system you have, some a bit short, so a bit long in the downpipe, so a bit hit and miss, personally unless you want loads of power I'd have kept the 4wd manifold.

As tabs, says hit and miss - even my 4x4 mongoose downpipe is a bit too short for my 4x4 car lol.

Fair enough, it's just a stage 3 set up not sure on power but must be round the 330 ish mark, will probably just keep the 4x4 one on now if it makes no difference, cheers guys

your turbo will spool slightly quicker on a 4x4 manifold plus you dont usually have to use a turbo damperwith them either plus iirc they dont become restrictive until you are over about 400+bhp

As said most say around 400bhp up is the point to change to 2wd.
