Default bosch 044 non return valve is it needed.

bosch 044 non return valve is it needed. cause im wanting to fit aeroquip fitting to the pump and i cant see any other way of doing it unless i remove the valve.

No not essential, so long as you have a decent prime period, of 3-4 seconds the rail will fill to pressure, so not a problem to delete it.

fit the nrv, I didn't have one in my sierra when I first got it, took and age to start from cold till the fuel got to the injectors.

is there any other way of fitting aeroquip with the non return valve on. i now i can use a banjo version of aeroquip but i dont really want to use a banjo.

I have a box of them somewhere, not from the 941/044 but same valve.

So long as the car starts ok, ie is a first time starter it won't be a problem without, done many other cars without.
