What spec is your engine?
What plenum do you have currently?

A lot of mappers have moved away from them? Something to do with number 4 piston melting? Not sure how accurate this is?

By the way, I assume you have seen the bit about it being damaged and requiring welding?

Utterly no pont then, you'll have the expense of a remap for the new plenum and the only noticeable difference afterwards will be it doesnt drive as nicely, and that its the same amount of power with slightly less boost.
You might gain like 5bhp or so if you are lucky, but that will be the limit of it realistically.

they blow welds for fun and dont have equal airflow to all 4 cylinders (much like a standard plenum lol) if you want to upgrade get a small turbo escort plenum or a hart plenum if you really want to go for it, allthough if your not planning on 500+ bhp then stick with the 4x4 plenum you have and spend your money on something else

Agreed on the escort plenum being the ultimate for upto about 500bhp

the swedish inlets work but only the r&b swedish or the mk swedish, the r&b ones are tried and tested by scs, theres a guy on here with scs built escos with 680bhp on a swedish inlet.... and i remember m k saying he was supplying a few tuners now

its the cheap shit on ebay and the diy'ers on here that get all the problems and people forget that the car needs a custom remap to suit

but at your power its not worth it mate..... needs to be high 400s + to even think about an inlet change

Rsmark, ALL large plenums effect throttle response, no matter who makes them.

Martin, I wouldn't bother tbh on your spec, the plenum on your car simply doesn't really need adressing.

i know mate but i was just stating that not all swedish inlets are shit, its all about design, people say they kill engines and i was just saying yes the shit ones do, but the well known ones are ok....

although the hart inlet is the way to go.....
