Brake upgrade using standard calipers
I want a conversion kit (just brackets, bells and rotors) that doesn't cost the earth. I'm sick of standard discs warping so want rotors and bells but don't want expensive 4 pots. I'm thinking to go for 315 or 310mm.
Anyone know any reasonably cheap kits? They all seem £500+ which seems a lot using existing calipers.
It's for a 4x4 saff and need to fit under 16 inch escos wheels. Posted on escos section but no replies as yet.
Cheers

s/h cossie 4 pots with adaptor bracket, and off the shelf discs, 4 pots will improve it no end.
They are a very good caliper just very heavy so not used, but would be fine with at least 300mm discs(ST170) etc.

I used to have big alloy Hispec calipers over standard discs - I paid £325 for them and they increased the braking and fitted inside 15" wheels just. May be an option for you. I never warped discs using them.

Cheers chaps. I'm not sure the 2wd caliper would work due the 4x4 offset I think it could catch on the wheels - there's not much space behind them.
