Default spring help

could someone please advise me as to how low coil springs should be fitted to my 1989 2wd saff that is fitted with 17" wheels or more to the point how low can i go

do a search mate,as you will ruin the handling if you go to low,
im using bayjoo springs which dont lower it that much,

As said get the idea of slamming it to the deck out the picture, a 1" drop is enough, but more important is what springs/dampers you use, the ahmed ones are great, I prefer AVO/chassis dynamics std ride height myself, and have used both mentioned.
