The 4x4 one superceded the original 2wd one - there are extremely rare now. You'll need the new 4x4 pipe to suit as well I'm afraid.
Here's a 2wd one - somewhat used...

and a 4x4 new one...

On a slight tangent, does anyone still do alloy ones with a sight glass. All the ones I've seen recently don't apart from the odd secondhand ones on Ebay

There's not many for 1986 models. Plenty for 4x4. It's for a friend of mine.
He's been looking a while for it on Ebay and other places, but haven't found anything yet.
He was talking about the tank this is refered to. I think he didn't want to send it to Norway as fare as I know..

Due to age, I can't see you finding a decent useable 2wd one, and they crack big time from use/age.
I used a 4wd one but made a fitting to join the two together, so if I want I merely need to screw in a temp sender and can then monitor the turbo water temperature, as it returns to the tank, took me all of a hour to spin one up on lathe.

I admit to having a new 2wd one.
last offer i had for it was over £400 and I don't plan to sell it, sorry but its for when my Saff might do concourse.
Ford replaced the design immediately on arrival of the 4x4 model and soon all you could get was the new tank and 'adaptor' pipe. So from recollection it was superceded around 1990... as the new 'kit' was always sold.
If you find them Jimmy I'm up for another for the 500 one day?
