Hi all,

I need some info on my rs500 radio/amp, just removed a complete stereo
system and have got some standard stuff to go back in but the amp
apeture is to long for standard din fitting amp. dosent appear to be cut or
if it has its been done really well (the system removed was VERY well
installed) or is there another surround missing from the amp...

the standard 3 door amp is longer in width that the head unit ,sounds like you have the wrong amp .

That would make sense...it would have to be about 2 inchs or so longer, does
that sound right ???

never measured it mate , but sound about right .
