Default Aeromotive fuel pumps

Anybody know anything about these pumps?
I am considering buying one for my 3dr,what's the max they r good for power ways?
Will it be a problem if ur tank runs on say a quarter of fuel?
Where can I get one from and any ideas on cost? Are they top quality and are they ok for road cars,I'm looking for around 500bhp in my 3dr cossie.
Alternatively, will an 044 pump and a fuel pump fewire kit do the job for 500bhp?
Will I need to run a swirl pot with either of the above as I don't really want a swirl pot or will the standard tank be able to cope?
I hope u can help me out.
Many thanks.Lee.

Thanks for the advise, yes I have since found out about the aeromotive pumps needing a regulator as they get hot plus overkill for a road car really,I'm going for 2 standard Bosch fuel pumps on Harveys advise.

The 044 is very little better in flow terms than the std one, two standard will be well over what you need, but better that way than overstretched, don't forget to do the rewire!!
Unless you are doing mental track cars with high cornering G's std tank will be fine, but best to keep 1/4 tank minimum, unless you are not giving it grief.
There are a few different tanks for cossie, slight differences , the best have a swirl pot made by a mercedes supplier, even marked on plastic swirl pot as mercedes!!
The made in CANADA ones are good as well.
