Default Actuator problems

Hi all, just wondering if someone may know the answer to a problem im having getting a suitable end for my actuator.

The actuator is a -31 and the turbo is a universal turbos T38.

I cant seem to get hold of the right end for the actuator as the long one i have is much too long and when it reaches the end of the thread it holds the wastegate door open.

The shorter one i have is so short that with the wastegate fully closed, its nowhere near the actuator rod!!

I could cut the rod down as some people have suggested but there must be a better way surely!

Any advice will be much appreciated!!

Looks like the WRONG actuator mate.

Is that a 4wd turbo and manifold?

Yes mate, the one you have there is for a 2wd turbo. You will have to cut and weld those two rod ends together to make one that fits.
