The blots are M6, not sure on length, but I just do them up starting from front to rear, DON'T overtighten othrwise it will distort the cover and leaks will occur, use a COMETIC rocker cover gasket from Matt Lewis 01922 692424, they are ace reuseable and don't leak, use new half moons as well, with sealant just around the ends where they meet the r/c gasket and the underside of the front cam caps.

A "T" handle would be much quicker but yes a normal allen key will work, 5mm I think it is.
Or a allen driver bit and a 1/4 ratchet etc.
Yes on mine they were/are all cap heads(allen) bolts.

As above they are M6 x 35mm cap heads (allen key type) for which you will need a 5mm allen key, just noticed as well you not been a member long so welcome aboard.

I would have thought that you would want to tighten inside to outside - alternating left to right and inside to outside.

If that makes sense.

At such a a low tightness, it does not matter, as distortion will NOT be a problem at the right seting(tightness).
