Default Missfire @ 4.5/5k

Hi got a stg 3 saph and ive got an intermet misfire at 4.5/5k'ish. Seems to do it in 1st and 2nd gear only just holds back like the powers been cut-off. Rev counter doesnt go off the scale much but does jump up and down

Changed rotor-arm
checked phase sensor, spark plugs (havent gapped or changed them as there Denso Ik27's and Karl @ NMS said they wont need gapping or replacing anytime soon)
running Group A coil
cleaned-out multi-plugs on the bulkhead
etc etc

Funny thing is i had it live-mapped @ NMS back in November and eversince now the car was bang on untill I took it to a rolling road meet with PF group back in Feb i think it was. It drove up fine but eversince Nobles put it on their rollers it miss-fired and from then its been doing this.

Question is could it have anything to do with it going onto the rollers or what to they take off/adjust on the car when it goes on the rolling road as this could've upset something or maybe they forgot to put something back on?

Anyother suggestions as i dont really have the funds to get it checked over by someone and want to have it ready for the 1/4mile at Central Day?

Cheers

Reiss

If the car is holding back,mis-firing under boost and the rev counter is jumping around its usually the engine loom,

The loom plugs that run along the back of the bulk head usually give up the ghost first, but there isn't really a specific part of the loom that goes its just that they are old and have had years of heating up and cooling down which fooks up the looms ability to hold current,

with my car the first time the problem happened I had the loom plugs removed and joined the loom together, this lasted for about 16 months but then problem returned, now have new engine loom and all is sweet

I had the same fault with my 4x4 saph when i first bought it.

Tried everything. Cap, rotor arm, plugs, leads, coil, crank sensor, phase sensor, tried the multiplugs on the bulkhead the lot.

Eventually it was traced to a dodgy ignition amplifier. that was replaced and was sweet as a nut after.

Similar to above mine started playing u after a RR setup (fine on the rollers).
I changed loads of stuff, ig amp, dizzy cap and arm, crank sensor, temp sensors, leads, plugs.
Some items improved it slightly but never fully fixed, so i bit the bullet and bought a new engine loom, and all is OK now. The wires become brittle and break down, these are now old cars remember.
