Default 2wd TPS problem

hi,

I have just change the TPS but notice there is over fueling/ hesitation on part throttle between 1500 to 2000 rpm.. there is black smoke presents too. but once the tps is disconnected the problem is gone but without the tps the engine tends to die off when the rpm drops... any idea why?

TPS used with L1 & L6 ECU = PF01 (Red in colour) 2wd
TPS with L8 & P8 ECU's = PF09 (Generally Black, but early 4x4 ones were also red) 4x4

Number is embossed on the TPS casing

Replacements could be black on 2wd as made by different contractor, so as PF01 it is right.
