Default Different car problem but....

Because of the wealth of experience and knowledge I thought someone here might be able to shed some light on a problem a mate is having with his Skyline R33 GTST, he installed a turbo elbo and down pipe and an adjustable actuator, now however the car will not rev past 2500rpm and will only register 2psi no matter how much we shorten the rod...???

All sorted - turns out it was a dodgy connection on to the air flow meter, must be some sort of built in safety strategy to prevent engine damage if the airflow meter fails.
