I left mine off for a while on my white car but wasn't happy - so in the end got some stripes.

its just that mine is having a full repaint and the stripes were ripped off

The bodyshop that last did mine did the same...bunch of wankers. Best make sure your bodyshop buys you some repro mouldings then chap...once they the oe jobbies have been ripped off they will never be straight again. Repro has gone up in price from what I hear recently...approx Ł200 a set now.
