I'm 42 with 18 years NCD no points and HIC quoted me £750!!
After the ninth(9) phone call to flux chasing a quote I gave up, they don't insure people who are retired unless over 65!!
I think your quotes sound good, got great service, eventually from BONCASTER with eveything in writing, BEWARE this company does NOT cover you when driving to and from place of employment, stated VERY clearly on my policy, in fact it is so vague it states any place of employment, hard to think of many that don't employ people.

They are good quotes them. I pay round about the 900 quid mark thats with only 3000 mile a year ive got 4 years no claims. Its only that price cause my mrs is only 23. I got a quote for myself and it was 525 quid on a classic car policy.

performance direct redirected me 3 times then hung up on me,said i had too many mods to cover me,then i went onto money supermarket.com and the same company gave me a qoute of £445!they called me and left a msg offering further discounts, obviously i could not declare the mods on my car on the online form, but come on,my car isnt really modified compared to a stage 3 cossie and they didnt want to cover me!

My stage 3 3 door with 18's, APs and konis valued @ £10k came in at £892 with greenlight. Only had 1 year NCB to put on it and I'm 24! Was over the moon with the quote, def recommend greenlight!!

A few of my fellow members above have put 18,7 and 6 years NCD, the maximum NCD you get is 5 years which is 60% so you could have 100 years NCD ya still are only gonna get 60%
Boncaster through the RSOC has always been the cheapest for me, all declared mods too

just bought it from adrian flux,£529 a year,£7.5k agreed value, all mods declared,i got a qoute for a 400bhp engine upgrade and they were gong to be £872.greenlight didnt impress me at all, phoned them to haggl;e and they wouldnt budge, they must just want 22 year old with cossies as daily drivers.their loss.was gonig to phone boncaster but i didnt want to have to wait for my membership to come through before i could get cover as the car is sitting in the garage and ive spent too much on it to lose it and not be covered!cheers everybody for the comments!lee
