rear shafts on the front?

i know reyland do something along the lines but does anyone know what it's all about?

do just use the stronger rear inner c.v. joint on the front on the front shaft? or is there something more involved than that if so what?

Martooon has an R&D front diff which has bolted output flanges

Oh and custom widetrack driveshafts
