I'm thinking of getting a saph again after a few years out of cossie ownership.
For me, the biggest thing to look out for will be the bodywork - underneath in the chassis rails etc. Let's not forget - the early ones are 20 yrs old now and some of them are sure to be rotten. Mine was a 1990 4x4 and I sold it about 2 yrs ago now and it was showing it's age then.
The mechanicals can always be fixed (could be costly of course) but a rotten shell is scrapyard time. I'd happily take one with a mint shell with a smokey/knockey engine over a sweet sounding one with a rotten shell.
