My 92/J plate sapphire (green top engine) just doesnt like starting hot or cold, it usually takes a good while of turnin it over to start and this usually involves it catchin...then dying again

any ideas? its just 2 of my mates have 2wds and they start on the button everytime....its gettin a little embarassin

i've put plugs in her and i'm waitin on a new dizzy cap and rotor arm coming

remove and clean ur idle control valve let me know how it goes

Listen for fuel pump prime before you start first thing in the morning, it should if not wiggle the lead to the CPS, around the connector to the loom, as these play up big time.
