Do you guys find these totally waterproof though - I know they are not supposed to be and that they breath a little - but on mine the water soaks in quite a bit around the boot - because of the spolier - which makes the water pool at times. It then pours through onto the car

mate its been on my car sinse august and not once has it blown away or even pulled a single strap

in every corner there is a plastic hook on elastic plus there is two straps that go around the leg of your front seats which then go out the door and on the cover is two eye lets which you just put the strap though and popper together ive had the cover 3 years now and its still in veery good nick plus when your not using it you fold it up and put it in its own carrier

I have the same one as the saint and it is excellent. The only problem i found is that as you cannot fold the wing mirrors in on the Sapphire the pin bends and gives you droopy mirrors.

I have had one on my MK1 Fiesta for about 7 years and it is starting to perish in a couple of places now, but has served me well.

Hi Mate

Thanks for your advice, I rang Classic additions and got me self a breathable outdoor cover for the sapp. This one is a generic one thu, but the chap said it will fit perfectly and do the job. It was £107, but im an RS Owners club member therfore it worked out £97.12.

They were well frendly and helpfull too.

So once again, a big thanks to u mate for putting me in the right direction, as i was thinking of getting one from argus, juckly escape.

Ps, Nice sapp u got there 2...

I had exactly the same cover as the saint very good quality but when I got my house with my garage I gave it to a mate, I've proper mugged myself off should have bayed it, Classic editions do make quality covers, here is a pic of my indoor cover which I got at a Granada club national day, thankfully I kept it and its gone to good use clothing the cossie while she is garaged

advice for the one from argos! DONT GET IT! its fucked my paint work and left water marks on the bonnet and boot, i thought it was just rubbing on the laquer at 1st but its ruined it, tried t cut and wax but nothing, like its under the paint! worst £40 spent to so called protect the car, now i just wash it when it gets crappy, to top it its under next doors poxy tree! due to the driveways next to each other,. so you can imagine! leaves, sap the lot so need to get the bonnet and boot repainted now!
Thanks ARGOS.

I bought a Monsoon Stormforce one, it's about £150 and is good, but the under body straps have rather flimsy plastic clips, one broke the first time I used it. However I've kept using it, it's damn good bar the flimsy clips, waterproof and breathable. When strapped on nice and tight it's a really good fit including wing mirror pockets, yes it's one that's model specific.
