What chip is this?
When i got my cossie a few weeks ago i was told it was standard, when i took a mate out in it he said it felt quicker than other 4wd cossies he'd been in & it got me thinking...
So today i took the top off the ecu & found this
Theres a sticker on the chip that says " NEW 4x4 PC" Does any one know where these chips came from or have any info about them? Hopefully its not some ebay crap.
Also it has this actuator
I was told that this actuator isnt any better than the standard one so does that mean the car won't be stage 1? Im hoping not cos if it is then stage 1 isnt very fast! lol

Thats the thing mate i dont know, theres no boost gauge yet. I'll hopefully get one fitted at the weekend. Just hoping some one might have seen or used one of these before.

HI JONNY YOU SHOULD RING TURBO DYNAMICS AND GIVE THEM THE NUMBERS THEY ASK FOR OFF THE STICKER ON YOU ACTUATOR. THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO GIVE YOU THE SPEC OF YOUR TURBO.

Yeah the turbos probs just been re-con'd there before, im just confused cos i thought it needed a -31 actuator to be stage 1, things will hopefully become clearer when i fit a boost gauge tomorrow & see whats going on

You might need a -31 to run stage 1.
A stronger acturator is needed when you run higher boost.
Wait until you get a boost gauge to se if it manages to keep the boost stabil on high rpms, if it doesn't you might buy a stronger acturator such as a -31. If the one you have is an original one.

Got the boost gauge fitted today & the car is running a huge 0.5 bar!! lol No idea why its that low but how exactly do i adjust the actuator to raise it a bit?
Thats assuming the boost gauge is correct, does -0.3 bar sound about right at tick over?
