Default sierra fuel tank

Hi chaps, I've got a saff cossie 1988 and the fuel tank has a big hole in it! Can anyone tell me whether the fuel tank is the same as the normal injection sierras or a part number would be good!

cheers

Different to DOHC injection Sierras m8

Can get brand new pattern part tanks for arouund Ł50 delivered to your door.
You want the tank with the small hole in the top,50mm IIRC,just for the fuel gauge sender, not the tank with the 100mm IIRC hole in the top which is for the fuel pump/gauge combined
Got mine from here:
http://www.shopcreator.com/mall/depa...05/1/1/-/75905
Pretty sure the part number is F60C you want, but ring them and check m8

MATT4

as far as I know, there are 2 different fuel injection Sierra tanks

only one type was used on cossies

as said above, the early (cossie) type has the small level sender hole

the later (non-cossie) type has the larger level sender hole

from the link above, if the photo is correct, then F60D appears to be the later (wrong) type

F60C has never been shown on that web-site m8

Only reason I know its that part number is cause they sent me the wrong one to start with(F60D),so rang them and they had the measurements/how many pipes etc were on tank and worked out it was the F60C for the Cosworth

Yes, but according to that website, I should take the F60D :

http://www.icegroupadmin.co.uk/north....php?make=Ford

So I more belive the guys who bought the fuel tanks and fitted them, but sounds strange.

Not sure is honest answer pal never had fuel surgeprobs with mine, but never ran it low on fuel to be fair

Orig ones didn't have a swirl pot as such just some type of baffle thing, pretty sure swirl pots are only on cars with lift pumps,Saph Cos is gravity fed
