Default Cambelts ...

What cambelt is the best quality out there (or are they much of a muchness ), how often do folks change them and any horror stories

I got told the gates timing belts are good. I ordered one from PJ motorsport and they supplyed me a gates belt. If your changing the timing belt you might as well change the tensioner to.

Yep gates belts are spot on and you must get a tensioner no questions

I got a Gates belt too, there was a post in general discussion some time back discussing how good Gates belts were. The end result was they were quite good.

I used to work for toyota and they used to use gates belts as original dealer parts.

I always use genuine Ford ones, pretty sure they're Gate's too?

Gates are the OE manufaturer.

I was putting in an order with Ford ... so it looks like a new tensioner and OE cambelt is on the list

4 x spark plugs for 450hp [best ones ][denso,ford,ngk9s ??????????]
4wd water pump gsk
4wd thermostat housing gsk
grpa cambelt x tensioner,
new cam pulley bolts and washers,
ford oil filter 4wd,
need a supplier as we sort all sorts race cars, tel 01924892014,think you know our pal alastair wide ka , thanks ,hope you can sort us out,

westfield I see you need a cambelt and tensioner but what has any of this got to do with (and how does it help) my thread about cambelts
