Final ratio on a 4wd saph
What is the final ratio on a 4x4 saph. Can you change the rear diff ratio on a 4x4 without doing anything else or would this affect the centre diff.
Basically I want to lower the gearing on a car to get better acceleration

3.92 front & rear i do believe
If you want to change the ratio fit the 3.62 diffs from a sierra xr4x4? but you must fit both otherwise you'll have the front turning slower than the rear & it will distroy your VC in the gearbox.

Think you can also modify the transfer box to allow the standard front diif to be used? No idea whats done though lol

With 26-24 gears and chain in tranfer box 3.92 rear diff can bee used with 3.62 std front diff.
