A mate of mine has to replace his headgasket this week and needs to buy a new headset.

I have seen on ebay from Woodford garage a genuine group a gasket set YB0611 for £175 which seems quite fair.

Is this gasket suitable for a stage 3 engine (350hp)

The block has been decked and the head skimmed so I know a multilayer would also work but is there really any need for one.

Also does a Cometic group A lower the compression anymore than a YB0611 or would you need to specify a thicker gasket if that was required ?
