rear kit is expensive and an arse to fit.thats why.plus people seem to think only the front needs doing due to the steering being up there

i have a full rear kit still in the boxes for sale.

i have heard many different thoughts on this, but as above i believe its just the amount of work to change the rear, some people say that its only the big bush that they renew as an oe ford item but put all the small ones as poly mate

Well worth doing the entire car imo.
When we had done the front I took it for a spin. Felt like the back was just hanging behind. Didn't feel as a "whole" if you catch my drift.
The day after we also did the back. The entire car felt different in a good way.
I am in the process of doing it all again. Only thing I don't have is a upgraded diff mount. I've seen the "group A diff munts" for sale but for what they are I think they're overpriced. I am looking into fabricating our own.

I'm going for the lot - front end is done and feels great. Will also use a 909 diff mount though as I've knacked this one. Am told its common motors over 400 so makes sense

Poly bushe everything except the rear trail arms, get new trail arm bushes from ford but the 4 bushes cost £217 and that was with a bit of discount

Why not the trailing arms? To keep some comfort or prevent a bit of noise/harshness?

trailing arms are fitted with a rose joint element which is far superior to any poly bush, id only replace them if there is any wear.

I know it has an impact
I didn't think it was too hard when I had it on my car when it was still on the road. But I guess that's a matter of taste.
Don't Cossie trailing arms have bearings in stead of rubber bushes like boggo Sierra's? I can imagine those are better than any bush.
