Default headgasket or cracked block?

hi chaps.
After buying my 3dr about a month ago i have now started to get water in with the oil. Im going to start taking it apart tomorow . Just wondering what the likely cause is going to be. Spoke to a few mates and most of them have said it is quite likely to be the headgasket! Any posibility that the block has cracked?
Cheers for the help!

it could possibly be the oil water cooler jobby under the inlet manifold, but there are all these things to take into consideration mate, good luck.
