as above, i have searched the forum but couldnt find it. Whats the standard new thickness of a head, minimum thickeness and thickness of standard gasket when compressed?

i think head thickness is 139 mm or there abouts

I am sure it is around 139.5mm, that FORD say, but this is a load of squit, they can be used less than this without trouble.

You need to get your silver sierra out of the grass and get your engine in, then all the rest of the bits, JAMES!!

lol, you worked it out then Ive been pulling all the bits together. Body spit should be here next couple of weeks then the underbody resto will start. Im now having a major dilema whether to change colour to magenta or not

Magenta is PUKE
Why go for a different colour, like British racing green, only seen one and it looked awsome.

Money The garage will proberly end up paying the paint bill lol. Do you know anyone with a diff, gearbox and half shafts etc then?
