Default 400bhp.

can a 2wd saph cossie handle 400bhp on standard diff, clutch, gearbox?

gets driven hard sometimes..but most time off boost

If driven off boost drive train will take a 1000 bhp when you cain it at 400 bhp the clutch will slip if standard, as they are not much good over 300 bhp ,the rest of the drive train will be ok as long as you show some simperthy launching otherwise you will start smashing rear diffs.

the clutch pedal is very heavy.and the bite is harsh..bit of a pain in slow moving traffic.but you get used to it after a while

Six paddle on mine feels fine and i have uprated cover ,but i have coverted to hydrolic clutch as i was having issues with the rachet
but with a standard cover it should feel very simlar , make sure you ether skim the flywheel or get a new one and dont get a 4 paddle as they can be a bit bitety

As i said skimmed will be fine as long as the existing is not in to much of a state, if they have to take to much off you can loose clutch completely as there will not be enough travel on the peddle to disengage.

the cars got a HKS EVC V Boost control system on the dash. 3 levels of boost(14/24/34) so you can turn it down for normal driving

My last car had 428bhp on a T4 if that makes any difference.

Anyone that knows me (including the new owner on the test drive sorry John ) knows I dont fuck about.

Lasted ok and showed no signs of any real problems - I imagine at some point it would have given up however.

i just bought an alcon kit from woodford this week Ł385 inc vat and next day delivery

Mine is fine though i have a paddle clutch with standard plate, but never launch it really just let the T4 play catch up whhat normally works against most everyday cars what are not played with as much.

Owner previously Jake off of here gave it death as i do and all still going strong at the power in sig.

be careful about what people mean when they say 'skimming' a flywheel. this should be done by the same machine that you skim a head or block with, not on a lathe

I had a standard clutch last 10K on 340bhp and then replaced that with an alcon 6 plate paddle with uprated cover. The pedal feel was nice and light and the clutch lasted for over 4 years including several launches and track days
