Default crank sensor bracket not lining up

Hi, whilst replacing the crank sensor if found that the the center is about 2mm out of the center of the sensor. (outwards)
It is a standard bracket, and shaving of a few mm of the whole bracket seems a bit tough.
Does it really need to be deadcenter? since oe is a bit of.
(why changing? well, i tought better to change indvance in case of failure whilst having a trackday and not able to drive)

They are all like this, won't make any difference as it only signals a loss of signal when magnetic feild interupted as lug moves away.
