Hi all;

new member to this site, so hello to all.

i've been fortunate enough to find a Sierra cosworth which has been stored for a number of years which requires the head putting back on the block.

i understand it was stored for 9 or more years, its standard 2wd in Magenta, with leather interior which is in excellent condition and the original multi spoke alloys. Its done an original 49k and the body has not got 1 bit of rot apart from a small patch of service rust on the bonnet.

i have all the parts to put the head back on, turbo, manifolds etc everything to get it running again

i bought it on a whim and just wondered what its worth, A) as it is B) once put back on the road. I see som many prices for 2wd Cossies from £2500 - £9000.

i'll get some pics done at the weekend so you can all have a look but out of interest what's your opinion on the value.

sounds interesting, where are you?

as said, more info and pictures are needed really, and spec. of any components that you will be fitting (turbo, injectors, etc)

not more than 3500! tough i believe it's a good base for a whole restoration!

It all depends on how much you paid for it , and how much it will cost to put it back on the road, plus if you want to do the job right or just to sell it on to somebody


Personally i cant see you paying that much for it so i would break it and sell me the leather full leather interior
