Whats the Trq settings for standard 2wd head bolts?

Here you go Dan

Firstly lightly oil bolt thread and underside of bolt head.

Then tighten as follows.

Stage 1: 20-25Nm

Stage 2: 45-50Nm

Stage 3: Turn thru 180 degrees (they will squeal like Trev getting his wallet out)

Do whatever stage you like(as there are several) but finish at 120lb ft, as said LIGHTLY oil bolts/studs.
Now make a cuppa and leave at least 1 hour, then redo and you will find they are LOOSE, as the gasket partuicularly if FIBROUS ie group a will shrink a tad, if this retorque is not done it will not last.
