Why do you want cut back blades ?
Don't forget step gap seal at the same time.

As it is (I assume) a cossie, you do NOT want cut back blades, unless you use a stupidly large compressor or turbine wheel to start with.
Cut back blades are NOT a performance thing as such, they are for when you want to spec a turbo to the engine more closely, ie you can use a larger turbine wheel and trim some blade if it is too large, but the next one down is too small, so it makes it in between.
You would be best deciding how much power you want, then spec from there, a decent spec T34 will run up to around 375/380 all day long, with a .48 housing and have very low lag.
It is lucky that you have a mate who has a balancing machine for doing the turbo's after upgrades repairs etc, or you could just get it done properly!!

hint of sarchasm there tabby?
lol,...

too true though

also, Ł250 for 360 rebuild AND a shaft with cutback blades is fooking cheap

but as tabby said, no need for cutback blades on a T34
